Arrival in Yangon |

Meet on arrival at Yangon International Airport and transfer to to the International Meditation Centre close to city centre and first initiation to the
rules of Vipassana-meditation by the monks.
7 days on full board (vegetarian, of course)
and 7 overnights in simple double rooms of
the meditation centre.

6 days teachings and exercises of rules and techniques of Vipassana meditation at the
center. The program is suited for beginners
as well as the advanced. We also visit Yangon and
the splendid Buddhist monuments.

Early morning flight to Bagan (80 minutes). Full day visit of the world´s largest temple
and pagoda complex. This is not a temple
rally, we show you the most beautiful and most
important spots, at a leisurely pace true to our
motto: less is more. Enjoy the eternal beauty
and serenity of Bagan and catch its genius
loci.

 Another full and rewarding day in
and around Bagan. In the evening we attend
the traditional marionette theatre (stringpuppets).

Bagan - Amarapura - Mandalay |
| |
Morning flight (30 minutes) to Burma´s last
royal city where the last Burmese dynasty
had to surrender at the end of the 19th
century when the British expanded their
Colonial Empire. Mandalay´s variety of sights
is impressive – the country´s biggest and most
beautiful Golden Buddha, the largest Marble
Buddha … and you can go treasure hunting in
the city´s manifold quaint boutiques. But first
we visit the near-by royal city of Amarapura
with its many temples and the world´s longest
teakwood bridge.

Mandalay - Heho . (B) |

Morning flight to Heho (30 minutes) on the
Shan plateau. Another hour´s drive brings us
to Lake Inle. Afternoon excursion by small
boats to the outstanding scenery of the Shan
pagodas at In Dein.

We spend this morning on the boat visiting
floating gardens and floating villages,
floating markets and floating pagodas – the floating world of the Intha, the famous
leg-rowing fishermen. Return to Heho in
the afternoon and flight to Yangon (approx.
1 hour).

- at least 7 days are required in meditation center
- the room in meditation center is simple but clean (common toilet and showers)

- you cannot leave the meditation center and you must follow the rules and regulations of this center
