The central region of Thailand,
is a land of civilization originating from the
pre-historic era and has been developing continuously
since Ayuthaya and Ratanakosin periods. Besides
being the country's most fertile land for rice
growing, the central region is also famous for
its natural resources, such as thick forests,
high falls, caves and beaches, and ancient historic
remains. In addition, the central region is
the center of national communications, thus
making it the most attractive of regions for
tourism.
