Bangkok – Delhi.

DAY 02

Delhi – Agra. (B/L/D)

 

Morning proceed for the half day City tour. This includes the Lotus Temple, India Gate, President House, Parliament House. Lotus Temple is a beautiful marble building in the form of blossming Lotus surrounded by the acres of beautiful gardens. India Gate is in the City Centre and is a Memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers who fought and died in the Second World War. President House was built in 1929, once the imperial residence of the British Viceroys and now the official Residence of the President of India. Parliament House - this circular shaped building houses the two houses of Parliament - The Lok Sabha (lower house) and the Rajya Sabha (upper house).  Its doomed central house is 90 feet in diameter. Also  visit RAJGHAT. This sprawling site on the banks of River Yamuna is marked by a brich plateform flanked by an eternal flame.This is the place where the father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination in 1948. Afternoon drive to Agra (approx 4.30 hrs). On arrival at Agra transfer to htl. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03
Agra - Jaipur. (B/L/D)
 

Agra is a very famous historical city and is known as the City of Tajmahal. Morning proceed for the sightseeing of the world famous Taj Mahal & Agra Fort.

Taj Mahal the magnificent to love (Closed every friday) - The Taj Mahal built by an emperor in memory of his beloved queen. Construction of the Taj mahal began in 1631, and is bellieved to have taken 22 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the cplock, The design and construction is said to be that of the legendary architect, Ustad Ahamad Lahori. Ligend has it that once construction was completed, Shah Jehan had Lahori'shands cut off, and blinded, so he would never be able to duplicate the structure. What makes the Taj Mahal unique is its perfect proportions distinct femininity, medium of constrution and ornamentation. Its marble exterior reflect rose and golden tints at sunrise and sunset, while it is dazzling white during the day. It is impossible to visualize the Taj Mahal in any surrounding others than its paradoxical garden. Paradise, in Islam, elevated it to heights of incomparable artistry.

Agra Fort - The great Mughal Emperor Akbar commissioned the construction of the Agra Fort in 1565 A.D. although additions were made till the time of his grandson Shahjahan. The forbidding exteriors of this fort hide an inner paradise. There are a number of exquisite buildings like Moti Masjid - a white marblemosque akin to a perfect pearl, Diwan - Am, Diwan-E-Khaas, Musamman Burj - where Sahjahan died in 1666 A.D. Jahagir's Palace Khaas Mahal and Sish Mahal.

Afternoon drive to Jaipur (approx 5 hrs). Enroute visist the beautifuly ruin city of  Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival at Jaipur transfer to Htl. Overnight at Hotel

DAY 04

Jaipur . (B/L/D)

 

Early this morning attend Yoga Session for 01 hour.

Enjoy Breakfast at Hotel & procced for an excursion of Amber Fort. 11 Kms. from Jaipur, Amber Fort is a marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the maota Lake below. Go up the Fort on the back of a gaily-caparisoned elephant true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. The interiors of the fort have various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirror and glass work  complemented by exquisite wall paintings. As you move between the rooms of this magnificent structure feel the history and visualize the pomp and grandeur of a kingdom never conquered.

IMPORTANT - Elephant ride at the Amber Fort cannot be guaranteed in advance. This is due to the fact that the number of elephants and the trips each elephant can take is very limited. All guests have to wait sometimes very long and some guests have had to be turned back.

NOTE - While all the elephant at the Amber Fort are completely tame, docile and fully trained, we would advise that you avoid standing too close to the animals while on the access ramps. Please also avoid patting/stroking the animals at all times and always avoid taking pictures next to the animals, even if suggested to do so by local guides.

Return to the Hotel for Lunch. Later proceed for half day city tour of Jaipur - visiting City Palace Museum - an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal is resplendent with its collection of roobes of royal princes, carpets an armory of old weapons miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and processions. Jantar Mantar ( Observatory ) - an accurate observatory built in 1726 AD. Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires. Also visit local market and enjoy rikshaw ride. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel.

Overnight in Jaipur

   
DAY 05

Jaipur – Delhi – Bangkok. (B/L/D)

 

Morning drive to Delhi (approx 6 hrs). Afternoon free for shopping. Evening departure transfer to Airport for the onward flight.
