01 |
Arrival Hanoi |

On arrival at Noi Bai airport, you are met and transferred to hotel. Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some Asia‘s most striking colonial architecture. The number of lakes and parks provides it a relaxing atmosphere. If time permits, we enjoy an hour cyclo excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places.

DAY
02 |
Hanoi – Halong Bay. (B, L, D) |

This morning, we start with a transfer out to the hauntingly beautiful Halong Bay. Arriving just before lunch, we will embark onto our traditional Vietnamese junk. The overnight cruise provides us with a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands which amazingly rise from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karst formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves, some of which we will have chance to visit.

03 |
Halong – Hanoi. (B) |

After the morning spent on cruising to the Man’s head, Tortoise islands and visiting Luon cave by small bamboo boat, and an early lunch on board, we disembark at Halong wharf where our driver and guide are waiting to transfer us back to Hanoi.

DAY
04 |
Hanoi – Hue. (B) |

After breakfast, we enjoy a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this site is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origin dates back to the foundation of Hanoi. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature, well known as Vietnam’s first university. After lunch, we enjoy a walk around the peaceful Hoan Kiem Lake and through the bustling Old Quarter, a maze of shopping streets and restaurants with a hotchpotch of architecture - traditional tube houses, religious buildings, artisans’ workshops and cottages, colonial houses and modern concrete edifices. In the late afternoon, we have a transfer to Noi Bai airport for our evening flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, we are met and transferred to our hotel.

DAY 05 |
Hue. (B) |

A fully exploration of Hue starting with a boat cruise upstream on the Perfume River which will give us a taste of the scenic countryside as well as an enjoyable visit to the beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu. Upon leaving this symbol of Hue we continue navigating to the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. The next stop of our trip is the elaborate royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and the famous pagoda of Tu Hieu. On returning to the city, we pass many fantastic eating spots where visitors may enjoy samples of local delicacies.

DAY 06 |
Hue – Phong Nha – Quang Binh. (B) |

After an early breakfast, we head to Dong Hoi on the way to visit Phong Nha Cave. En route we will stop at the former DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) during the Vietnam & American War historical sites – Parallel number 17 at Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc tunnels. In the afternoon exploring Phong Nha Cave - an Impressive World Heritage in centre part of Vietnam.

DAY 07 |
Quang Binh – Danang – Hoian. (B) |

After breakfast, we drive to Danang via Hai Van Tunnel. We stop en route to visit Cham Museum in Danang city, where we can learn and understand better about the My Son Sanctuary of Cham Nation. We then continue to Hoian where we can stroll around town or the Cua Dai beach for leisure.

DAY 08 |

The ancient architecture of Hoian is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. There are plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, Pottery Museum, 200 years old Tan Ky House, Chua Ong Pagoda and vibrant market. Today we include these on a walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls, which reflect the town's multi-cultural past.

DAY 09 |
Hoian – My Son – Hoian. (B) |

A half day to visit World Heritage My Son Sanctuary which is away from Hoian about 45km which was holly land of Cham culture and Champa Kingdom from 2th to 17th century. Remains are the remarkable brick towers, whose origins and purpose are to be explained by our guide.

DAY 10 |
Hoian – Danang – Departure. (B) |

There is some free time to relax in Hoian before a transfer to Danang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh/Hanoi in connection with your departure flight. Trip ends after your transfer to Danang airport.
